After a successful restaurant career in Holland, dog owner and dog lover Marga Otten decided in 1997 to emigrate to the beautiful Algarve in the south of Portugal. Continuing her restaurant career, she opened Simsa, which became a very well known and successful restaurant in Portimão. In 2009 she decided to follow her passion and started the Algarve dog care business Hello Bello located in Lagoa.
Marga’s experience has been gained by working in various private shelters and municipal kennels. 18 months of working with Swedish trainer Cilla Danielsson, owner of Hundens Hus, resulted in qualifying as a dog trainer and instructor. In the past two years, Marga has invested in various additional studies such as behaviourism, TTouch, clicker training. And as a Reiki Master, she gives various Reiki treatments to the dogs.
A new way of helping dogs in a natural way is using aromatherapy. Dogs react very well to essential oils. Marga will finish her study dogs and aromatherapy in 2020.
With her dedication, knowledge and experience Marga is now the well known and successful owner of Hello Bello Algarve Dog Care.
